Reflections:

Matthew B: My greatest achievement was developing my leadership and communication skills whilst leading my team through the Nightline because you are not able to see anything while going through a blind obstacle course.

Tyler B: My greatest achievement was getting though the Piranha Pool! At first I was scared; however, I trusted my instructor and my teammates and escaped with all of my fingers and toes!

Oliver B: My greatest achievement was overcoming my fear of heights. I did this by reaching the top of all of the high activities and by saying to myself that I’m not going to fall.

Jacob C: My greatest achievement was taking encouragement from my friends to reach the highest point on the Giant Swing.

Ruby C: My greatest achievements were the water challenges: canoeing and the Piranha Pool. I overcame my fears in the Piranha Pool by taking encouragement from my friends.

Jake D: My greatest achievement was being able to jump the furthest distance on the Trapeze because I didn’t think I could leap that far.

Kai F: My greatest achievement was showing resilience on the Trapeze. I felt confident at the start, got scared halfway and at the top; however, I kept going, took deep breaths, jumped and reached the bar!

Evie F: My greatest achievement was how high I reached on the Climbing Wall and working with my group on all of the different activities which was amazing.

Maddison H: My greatest achievement was having the determination to try my best on all of the activities, especially the high activities because I was a little scared about heights.

George H: My greatest achievement was getting to the top of the Giant Swing because, at first, I didn’t want to do it, but I faced and overcame my fears.

Lilly J: My greatest achievement was getting through the caving system because I am terrified of the dark and small spaces.

Macie J: My greatest achievement was overcoming my fears and reaching the top of the Giant Swing.

Jack L: My greatest achievement was caving because I am scared of small spaces; however, I managed to crawl all the way around the caving system.

Bradley L: My greatest achievement was escaping from the Dungeon of Doom by working as part of a team to solve problems and communicate effectively.

Chloe M: My greatest achievement was successfully participating in every activity, enjoying every bit of every activity and overcoming my greatest fears.

Cara Mc: My greatest achievement was getting to the top of the Climbing Wall when I was scared. I managed this because of all of the encouragement and support from my team who cheered me to the top.

Lucy M: My greatest achievement was going in the caves and getting over my fears with my friends. I was very proud of this because I was, initially, scared of going into the small spaces.

Dylan R: My greatest achievement was overcoming my fears, particularly in the Piranha Pool. I overcame them with the help and motivation of my teammates.

Piper R: My greatest achievement was completing all of the activities as part of my group; I was very proud of myself. I never thought that I would complete them all; however, I used my courage and determination to do it!

James S: My greatest achievement was reaching the top of the Climbing Wall because I am terrified of heights.

Grace S: My greatest achievement was completing every activity, including getting to the highest points on the high activities and working as part of a team with a range of different people.

Phoebe S: My greatest achievement was overcoming my fears in the caves and being able to see my friends in the dark.

Millie T: My greatest achievement was managing to succeed on every challenge and helping my friends along the way.

Jo V: My greatest achievement was going across the Piranha Pool at the end of the session because I was petrified. All of my friends encouraged me and even when I fell in I knew I was going to be all right and nothing would harm me.

Grace W: My greatest achievement was to develop my self-belief and to have the courage to enter the caving system even though I didn’t want to. In the end, I loved the caves.

Emma W: My greatest achievement was having the courage to try all of the activities and try my best, even when I was scared.

Charlie W: My greatest achievement was completing the problem solving challenges (like Piranha Pool, Knight’s Quest and Dungeon of Doom), making sure that I worked successfully and communicated effectively as part of the team.

Ella W: My greatest achievement was improving my ability to work as part of a team in activities like Crate Challenge, Knight’s Quest, Piranha Pool and Dungeon of Doom.

Sophie A: My greatest achievement was listening to the instructors and trusting my friends on the Nightline because I don’t like it when I can’t see where I am going.
